Our clinic offers a wide variety of products for adult patient. This includes Invisalign® Clear Aligners, In-Ovation-R® Metal and In-Ovation-C® Clear Self-ligating Bracket System, Radiance® Crystal Clear braces, Lingual braces, Orthodontic Implant Anchorage and Adult Functional Appliances.

7. I want to straighten my teeth for my wedding photo in 6 months, is that possible?
Yes it is. We have a treatment option that’s specifically designed for brides. Improvement of teeth alignment happens relatively quickly. Dr Ho can also remove the braces for you just before the photo session, and put them back on at no extra charge. There will be minimal interruption to your orthodontic treatment.

8. What is invisalign?
Invisalign® uses a series of invisible and removable trays to gradually straighten teeth without metal or wires and is especially tailored for each individual. The treatment trays are computer fabricated by Align Technologies. Each aligner aims to move your teeth little by little and is worn for approximately 2-3 weeks.

9. What are clear braces?
Clear braces offer a translucent appearance. They are also known as ceramic braces that are transparent for a natural and aesthetic look. Our clinic uses crystal braces which are totally transparent.

10. What can I expect in the 1st consultation?
Our surgery is one of the very few clinics that offer Dental and Facial Analysis with the patient during the first consultation. This is done through the use of a special computer program. Photographs of your face are taken at the clinic when you arrive. By loading your photographs along with your x-rays into the computer program, Dr. Ho is able to carry out the analysis and recommend the treatment that best suits you. The intra-oral camera is the latest technology we use to help you to better understand the conditions of your teeth. The images from the camera can be seen immediately on the television screen in the clinic.

The latest technology, self-ligating brackets which are smaller than conventional metal braces uses a permanently installed, movable component to entrap wires. Light continual forces are applied to teeth and generally reduce treatment time. Other accessories such as Forsus® spring and orthodontic implants greatly improve the efficiency of the mechanics.

Yes you can! Depending on your pre-existing condition and the current progress, Dr.Ho will suggest the suitable options for you to complete the treatment. Information from your overseas orthodontist is desirable but not essential.

No, our centre provides services exclusively to patients over 18 years old. However, Dr. Ho sees patients of all ages at a more family-oriented surgery located in Burwood, Sydney. Please visit www.simplybraces.com for more information.

We understand that, sometimes it is not possible for you to attend your appointment as scheduled due to unforeseeable circumstances. We would appreciate if you could advise us as soon as possible and reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours ahead to avoid the cancellation fee. 20. How many doctors are there at the centre?
Dr. Ho is the only orthodontist at ACAOO and all clinical treatments are performed by him. No procedure is delegated to other dental personnel in order to achieve continuity of treatment and best results. It is our philosophy to provide to our patients the highest standard of services and care.
