Orthodontic Implant Anchorage
Moving teeth in a certain direction always generates movement of other teeth in the opposite direction. Orthodontists have been using different ways to counteract this unwanted side-effect. Conventional methods do not guarantee absolute anchorage and even a little force will cause undesirable movements and slow down the entire treatment process. Our surgery uses orthodontic implants – the latest technology in orthodontics in both routine and more complex cases. They are very small in size and offer many advantages that conventional orthodontic methods cannot achieve. They provide absolute anchorage and ensure that the whole treatment is more efficient and more personalized to suit individual needs.

Adult Functional Appliances
There are a wide range of functional appliances to correct bite problems and facial imbalance. One of the most common facial disharmonies treated by orthodontists is the protrusion of the upper jaw beyond the lower jaw, giving rise to an appearance of an over bite. Fixed functional appliances are used to modify and stimulate jaw growth, movement of teeth and dental arches. Although functional appliances are mainly used in patients who are still growing, the cellular and biological responses in adults to the appliances are essentially the same. Our clinic utilises a modified approach to achieve an effective outcome for the adult patient with less discomfort
